Dr. Moore surgically corrected my pelvic prolapse problem. I have had several surgeries in my life and always suffered side effects of nausea coming out of surgery. Dr. Moore and his team at Porter’s did a wonderful job in preventing any nausea and in pain management. I have to say that it was the best surgery experience I’ve had so far. Dr. Moore has a wonderful bedside manor and is very willing to answer any and all questions. My prolapse has been corrected and I feel like a new women again. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Moore and the staff at both Advanced Women’s Health Institute and Porter Adventist Hopsital provided excellent care. Dr. Moore performed a laproscopic hysterecomy that relieved me of years of excruciating pain and discomfort caused by recurrent fibroid tumors. I was treated with the utmost care and consideration, and felt informed at all times. The entire experience–from the genenral information session last autumn to my recovery after surgery this spring–has exceeded my expectation. My health has been restored and I am thankful! Dr. Moore is the most incredible Doctor I have ever had and I consider him to be “A life changing Doctor” for me. I saw him at first because I was having problems with my period and I had gained 90 pounds as a result. Every other doctor told me there was nothing they could do and that I may have to give up on ever having kids. Dr. Moore treated me and had me back to a healthy weight and normal period within 6 months! He also reassured me I could still have kids! A few years later I began having extreme pain due to ovarian cysts and endometriosis like symptoms. I was in and out of hospitals for months, losing hope, and feeling like I was crazy because every doctor I saw told me there was nothing wrong and nothing they could do. When I went back to the man who had saved me the first time, he took me in under his wing and performed surgery right away. He worked with me, provided amazing care, and has enhanced my quality of life immensely. Dr. Moore and his staff have become like another family to me; everyone in that office is incredible! He is one of a kind and I feel truly blessed to be his patient!
Dr. Ekberg has been the greatest doctor I have ever seen. I went to her in hopes of receiving an IUD because of my inability to take hormonal birth control. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about my options she was exceptionally kind and open, she really took the time to discuss everything with me. She always took the time to call me personally for important information regarding the upcoming procedure and gave me every option to ensure my utmost comfort. I would highly recommend the entire office to all my closest friends and family. Everyone there is exceptionally kind and caring about the well being and comfort of each patient. Dr. Moore’s daughter(who’s name unfortunately escapes me) even held my hand during the most painful part.
Dr. Moore performed a laparoscopy for treatment of my Endometriosis. I have had three other procedures for the treatment of endometriosis and none of them even came close to the success I had with Dr. Moore. I experienced no bleeding and was off the pain medication within 3 days. I was able to return to regular exercise after a week and back to jogging within 4 weeks. I have virtually no pain now and I contribute this success to Dr. Moore and his entire team. I’m very pleased and would highly recommend Dr. Moore and his staff!
Dr. Moore is my hero. After years of dealing with heavy bleeding and debilitating migraines I finally had an endometrial ablation done by my regular OB/GYN. This was a great experience, and it solved those two issues. However, a few years later I began to have issues with my bladder and a trip to my OB revealed a very large fibroid that had developed at a rapid rate that would require a hysterectomy. It was so big, that I would have had to have a “T” incision to remove it (via traditional surgical procedures). This would mean many weeks of missed work at a time when my life and career just would not allow that. Dr. Moore performed a minimally invasive hysterectomy on me, and I was back to normal and at work within 1.5 weeks. It was so easy in comparison to what my recovery would have been if I had gone the other route, and much less risky. This is the way to go if it will work for your situation, and it is unfortunate that most OB/GYN’s do not even know enough about this process to recommend this to their patients.
I was referred to Dr. Moore by my doctor. I was having extreme pain and heavy bleeding during my cycle for 8 months. I had fibroids on my uterus. My experience with Dr. Moore and his staff was phenomenal. Dr. Moore is very kind and has an exceptional bedside manner. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain my options. I ended up having a hysterectomy which happened rather quickly…from start to finish I couldn’t have been under better care. Dr. Moore performed laparoscopic myomectomy & ablation surgery in March 2004. This was the best thing since sliced bread. I have not had a problem seven years later. Here is my short story. At the age of 30, a previous OBGYN recommended a complete Hysterecotomy because of my pain, bleeding and fibroids in and on the uterus. At that time, I was not married and did not know if I wanted to have children. So I suffered the pain and bleeding until 2004 when a co-worker recommended Dr. Moore. Dr. Moore explained all of my options in a way that I could understand. He did not pressure me to do anything but provided information for me to make a well informed decision. This was an experience that I had not had with a doctor. I elected to do the laparoscopic surgery. My recovery was short. I was back at work within a week and a half. I used pain killers for one day only after surgery. He and his staff had the best bedside manor before and after the surgery. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is the best.
I was referred to Dr. Moore by Dr. Marcie Lavigne and Dr. Lisa Talamantes for heavy bleeding. My intent was to talk to to him about an ablation but soon found out I had 3 fibroids I wasn’t aware of. After discussing all of my options I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy on September 22. My whole experience with Dr. Moore and his whole staff has been amazing! They are so helpful and friendly and my surgery was the best thing I’ve ever done. Dr. Lavigne even told me that she was shocked at how quickly I recovered and how soon I was feeling good. I returned to work 5 days after surgery with absolutely no complications. I tell my story to every woman that will listen because I want them to know that there are options out there and we don’t have to suffer. I will never reget the decision I made and am thrilled that I chose Dr. Moore to perform this procedure.
I was referred to Dr. Moore by my Family Practice Platte River Medical Clinic for heavy bleeding and cramping. I had been to previous OB/GYN who told me I would just have to be on some type of birth control for the rest of my life. After seeing Dr. Moore he set up the operation and on December 20th I had my surgery. It truly was the best thing I have ever done for myself! After surgery Dr. Moore advised me I had stage 2 endometriosis! The office was helpful and friendly, Dr. Moore is so wonderful! I returned to work part time after 2 weeks and went full time after 3!
